Learn about the latest technological challenges in microelectronics by tackling real-life problems at leading companies in the microelectronics industry.

Two levels

There will be two in-depth cases from different levels. One of which is for bachelor students and the other one for master students.

    Welcome to the Microelectronics Caseday! Check in at Lecture Hall Chip, receive your Caseday-badge and meet other participants! Refresh with a cool beverage and strengthen up with some snacks before diving into the program.

  • Menno Lindwer from Intel ICG will kick off the day with an inspiring talk on Building, programming, and validating low-power heterogeneous multi-core image processors.

    Company introductions

    Each of the participating parties will introduce themselves and tell you what sets them apart.

  • 12:15

    Introducing the cases

    The participants will be split into groups, after which each group is given a case.

  • 12:30

    Lunch break

    Enjoy a luxurious lunch and start brainstorming about the case with your team mates.

  • 13:00

    The real deal: start solving your case!

    Go to your designated meeting room and start solving your case!

  • 15:00

    Pitch your solution

    Present your solution in one and a half minutes in front of the other participants and a jury of faculty staff members

  • 16:00

    Award ceremony and drinks

    Enjoy one or more free beverages together with the companies' representatives while the jury presents the winning teams!
